. . . Everything is so different . . . Yet nothing is changed . . .

My children are looking at me, holding my hand, they are too young to understand what I’m going through. The pain is racking my body, I have so little strength yet, but they are all fading away. I have to try . . . I have to try . . . Oh I’m so weak . . .

“Mommy?” a young male voice whispered, but I wasn’t in the state of mind to answer him. I simply blinked, worrying about him. I couldn’t say goodbye to him yet. . . It will be alright, I know it . . . I have to try . . .

“Chan Chan?” a shrill female voice cried. “Don’t leave us!”

“Momma, please answer us! You’re looking how daddy looked!”

Daddy! He is gone . . . He left us . . . But . . . I can’t speak . . . I’m not in the right state of mind . . . Memories and thoughts are clouding my head, I can’t . . . break free . . .

I have to stand up, be strong . . . I can’t stand up . . . The pain is fading . . .

“Chan Chan!”

“Mommy!”

They are learning that time is precious, worthwhile . . . Even though what I’m feeling inside, they trust that everything will be alright . . . I have to believe . . . Be strong . . . Have to try . . . Have to fight . . . To make it right . . . I have no strength yet I will try for you . .

Oh . . . This night is too long . . . I have no more strength left in my body . . . It left for you two . . .

No more . . . pain . . .

I’m floating . . .away . . .

The angel . . .

He is calling my name . . .

He is the reason I have to stay . . .

He misses you two . . .

He is calling your names . . .

He is telling me I have to try . . .

To stay for my children . . .

Samantha . . .

Liang . . .

I have to try for you two . . .

I can’t leave it all behind . . .

Have to try . . .

Have to stand up . . .

All this pain is worthwhile . . .

“Mommy!” the female voice rang through my head more clearly this time.

“You’re opening your eyes!” the male cried, and I could hear tears in his voice.

It was true, I opened my eyes, to see my son and daughter looking at me with eyes clouded with worry. Seeing their faces, I forced a smile, ignoring the pain it caused.

“Daddy told me I have to stay for you . . . I won’t say goodbye yet . . .”

“Does Daddy miss us?” Samantha asked nervously.

“I really miss him . . .” Liang looked down.

The familiar red headed demon wolf ran through my mind, when we first me, he told me he loved me, proposed to me, said ‘I do’ at the alter, held his children . . . And the day he died to save my brother, who he hated . . . My Gary Wolff . . . Those beautiful emerald eyes . . .

“Yes.” I finally answered. “He told me I have to try and not leave you. I will never leave you. Daddy misses you.”

No, it doesnt, he does live a long happy life with Sue. sometimes I kill my characters for the fun of it!

haha i was thinking about doing that in some of my fics. but i never did!

This is so great! I love the perspective on it. It's odd because it feels like it's third person, the way it's written, even though it's from Sue's point of view (or you know, so I assume XD). I like it. (:
