Fruits Basket!!! :D

Sooo, yus. Abandoned this anime/manga for a while, but started again! so far I'm on Ch. 18, wanna read it first then see the anime.

When I was in the hospital and was really down with the sickness, my mother got out the portable DVD player (this was about around the middle of this decade?) and rented Fruits Basket for me to watch. I didn't know what anime was until I watched that.
She was suggested to get it from Netflix, so yeah. Even though I may not like that Shojo and girls manga/anime that's new and out there today, but Fruit's Basket really affected me.

It's not that sort of girly shojo that's larger than life. The school life and actuality of Tohru seems more realistic to me. Sure there's gossip, fights, fanclubs and stuff, but if you remove the fact that the Sohma family are animals of the Zodiac, it seems realistic to me. I always loved animals, zodiacs, astrology, cosmic calender, stuff like that.

I may not look into the series that much today, because of my tomboyish nature thingy, but I will never forget it.

i love this series and i made it Rina's favorite manga as well ive only read the first four in the series but im constantly on the lookout for more. My fave character is either Kyo or Momiji. Kyo's so lovebley hot headed and who doesn't love Momiji, i mean, come on.

MOMIJI IS ADORABLE!!! I feel so bad for him, his past and all.... "momma doesn't know me..."

i know! who could hate Momiji? especially his own mother! i would adopt Momiji. Kyo's so mean to him but i adore him
